They sold that much corn in three days! Usually takes them about a week. This is definitely awful!
I hate to think about driving past on Tuesday and not being able to stop for corn. We'll definitely be out on Thursday- early!

The golf weather was pretty awful too. One of the hottest days so far this year.
But, we were with nice people - well Rada is nice.
And she has good golf form.
John on the other hand.
He did have some fun though.
Hate to point this out, but the ball is still there John!
Hard to believe he beat me isn't it? The major difference? I chose to hit much bigger trees - many of them. As usual, Mardi showed no mercy either.
At the end of the day though we were still having fun.
A nice day with good friends!

Here's something that should make you proud of our military:
The Royal Canadian Navy's deputy commander has responded to a series of online posts criticizing the military's plan to drop the term "seaman" by warning that there is no place in the force for sailors who subscribe to "hateful, misogynistic and racist" beliefs.
Rear Admiral Chris Sutherland issued the admonition in a Facebook post over the weekend as sailors and members of the public are being asked to vote on a new title for the navy's most junior members by replacing "seaman" with a more gender-neutral term.
"To those of you currently serving with these beliefs, I would like to emphatically state you have no place in our navy," Sutherland said. "If you cannot live by or support the values of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, then you cannot defend them."
(underlining is mine - what a statement!)
Another small step for mankind. It reminds me of the small kerfuffle when the national anthem was changed from "in all our sons command" to "in all of us command".

Stay safe. Be kind. Wear your mask.
