Yesterday, Mardi and I went "out" for dinner. Takeout that is, of our favourite Asian food from The Banana Leaf restaurant in downtown Stoney Creek. Love their Cashew Chicken.
My fortune cookie said "Don't worry about money. The best things in life are free." I think we're all finding that to be more true these days.

A big foofaraw in Canada today with news that Biden will reverse Trump's executive order on day one and shut down the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
The CBC is bleating that "Canadians thought that things would be more predictable with Biden". Well folks, he and Obama cancelled it years ago. And one of Biden's main campaign themes this time was climate change. Months ago, he said he was going to reverse Trump's executive edict that restarted the pipeline. Seems to me that it couldn't be more predictable than that!
For context, the pipeline route skirts the edge of the Ogalalla Aquifer, one of the world's largest, that underlies portions of eight states. Even if climate change wasn't the issue, the potential for environmental damage is immense.
The main culprit in this story is not Biden, but the Canadian Liberal government. Canada continues to import offshore oil to our east coast but the Liberals have taken domestic pipelines off the table as they attempt to appease Quebecers who don't want to see pipelines crossing their province.
Go back to sleep Canada.

Heading for the greenhouse tomorrow. Talk then. Stay well.
