We sat outside this morning and listened to the Mockingbird once again. What a treat.
And then it was off to Hunter's Creek Golf Club on a recommendation from one of our Byrncliff golfers. While the course is well laid out and, although mostly flat, challenging, it certainly could use some TLC.
The greens were not great......
...and the traps were mostly caked or wet.....
...although we did find the odd one with good sand.
It was hot (over 30 C) and humid and my pulse rate topped out at 135 (nothing to do with the fact that I lost to Mardi by 10 holes) so we were glad when it was over. We won't likely play here again for a while.
A couple of rye and cokes got my heart rate back in sync and after a delicious dinner prepared by Maureen we played cards once again. Mixed results is all I can say.
Tomorrow we will take it easy. Maybe explore old Kissimmee.
