Busy Day

We started early, dropping Mardi's car off in Carlisle for some paint touchups.  Due to a couple of serious accidents further along the QEW it took us an extra hour to make the trip - half of that spent parked on the Skyway Bridge.

Then we headed to the greenhouse.  Mardi pulled some weeds while I attended to my watering.

Back home and Mardi then headed out for her Church choir taping.

A light lunch and back to Carlisle.  Delivered her car back into our underground garage and then headed for Lake Erie.

Steve's and Bonnie's daughters were at the cottage with their children.  This is the first time Rebecca has been home since before the pandemic.  She and James are living and working in New York State.

Good to see them again.  We had a very nice visit.

From there we headed to Hoover's Marina in Port Dover for Haddock and Chips.  I didn't know the place existed.

Meal was excellent as was the coffee and Baileys afterwards.

Our final stop for the night was at the Lighthouse Theatre tent to see "Beyond The Sea", a two person show.  A fantastic event - part comedy, part drama and finally a love story.  It runs until September 12.  If there are tickets available, Mardi and I definitely recommend it.  As you can see, they do the physical distancing thing very well.

It was a hot night, despite the tent having good air flow.  Fans were provided for the ladies.

Got home in time to watch the final two innings as the Blue Jays lost again.  They scored 7 runs, but that was four less than they needed for a victory.

Keep cool.  Stay well.
