The ladies started breakfast with a hot chocolate.
After breakfast, we headed down-town for a trolley tour.
The tour started in Old Town, the original part of San Diego.
Which involved shopping of course..
And a new hat that almost matches the backpack.
We boarded the bus to begin our day's adventure.
Next stop, the USS Midway,
The flight deck had a selection of planes and helicopters that flew from the Midway during its active deployment.
Next came flight training.
Applying more sunblock on a windy day is a two person operation.

Next stop was Coronado Island. Pictured below is the Del Coronado Hotel, built entirely of wood.
And a house that was moved from San Diego to the island and called "Little Del".
Then we headed for Coronado Beach.
Is it OK to get our feet wet?
 
OOPS!
Oh well, might as well go for a swim.
  
Had to buy beach towels to protect the seats.
The trolley tour continued to Balboa Park but we'll show pictures of that tomorrow when we visit the zoo.
