Day Five - Tuesday, July 7, 2015 - Montezuma Day

While Mardi and I attended the obligatory timeshare presentation, the girls swam and then watched TV.  We managed to fend off the timeshare vultures once again.  But, there is no doubt that Diamond Resorts run a class operation.  And we will enjoy the four free days here!

After the girls finished watching Jaws 2 we headed for Montezuma's Castle.

Five stories of rooms, halfway up the cliff.  Plus many single rooms in small caves along the same rock face.

Then, it was on to Montezuma's Well.

You can see the structures in the well wall behind Reggie and in the picture below.

The well is filled from below by springs, with 1.6 million litres of 74 degree water every day, winter and summer.  It eventually flows out of the side of the well and the Sinagua channeled it to their fields

Then it was off to dinner at the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill in Talapepaque, followed by some fun..

And now it's early to bed.  We've got a big day tomorrow.
