Day Eighteen - July 20, 2015 - San Francisco

We started with a quick look at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.  It's a good thing that we didn't know about these coasters last night!

A couple of hours drive to San Francisco and we parked at our hotel, then walked two blocks to the GrayLine pickup spot for the Hop-On Hop-Off City Tour.

Our guide Aaron was knowledgeable and humorous.

And we had front row seats again.

First big stop was at the Golden Gate Bridge.  We went across, turned around and returned.

It was chilly and windy.

This street and hill was made famous in Steve McQueen's movie "Bullitt".

The top section in this picture of Lombard Street is the "crookedest street" with its switchbacks.  It's just three blocks from our hotel.

City Hall is beautiful.

Chinatown
They "Found Their Heart In San Francisco".

With Alcatraz looming over their heads.

A batch of Sea Lions at Pier 39 entertained us with their barking.

And then it was back to our hotel.  We can see the Golden Gate Bridge from our room - through the fog.

Tomorrow we walk to the "crookedest street", then catch a cable car.  We'll stop off in Chinatown before taking the cable car back to Lombard Street.  Tomorrow night we catch the Blue Jay's game against Oakland after which we head to Castro, California.  We're on the home stretch.
