Happy birthday today to Sandro Cervoni, one of our better golfers. Just one more number added to the golf handicap Sandro.

Today's other big event was the Optimist kids/grandkids' Christmas party. The hall was ready.....
.....and Santa's kitchen crew were all set to go on pancakes, sausages and ham.
After everyone was fed, the big moment came..........
Even babes in arms met the big man and received a gift.
Mardi and I were there to help set up and clean - and enjoy watching the kids have their special moment. A nice way to start the day!

Monica sent the following to me today. 
Good advice folks. Unless the old man is Santa....and if it is, just ask for more years. Otherwise, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Find ways to keep going.

Just two weeks until we head off to Jamaica. They've just called a state of emergency there - they know we're coming!
