Christmas Concert

Had a wonderful morning with my great granddaughter today.  Yancy, Kayt and Rowan are down visiting family for a few days.

We had brunch at Stacked and then headed for Green Road.

Took a while, but Rowan eventually accepted me.  It took the Christmas bells to break the ice.

Mardi had a much easier time.  Immediate friendship.

Rowan is walking (actually more like running) as long as she has a finger to hold onto.  Round and round - Kayt got her steps in today!

Glad that we were able to spend some time with them before we head out on our vacation adventures.

For the Dofasco folk, I met Bronko Jazvac in the lobby here today.  He moved in about a year ago (but has been travelling a good part of the time in the interim).

He was a Superintendent at the time we were all asked to cut staff voluntarily by 20%.  Bronko's department was the only other one besides ours that took the challenge seriously and achieved it.

Nice to see him once again.

Had a Christmas luncheon here at the Shoreliner this afternoon.  Nicely presented (especially the wine) but it was a challenge sitting with all of those old people!

And tonight we attended Mardi's church concert.  Entertained by the choir........

.....and by the Hamilton Concert Orchestra.

One way or another, we're getting the Christmas spirit.  A nice evening.

Stay well.
