Aging 101

Today, we belatedly wish Calvin's mother, Bessie Lee, a happy 101st birthday.  She was born October 21, 1920, but she wouldn't allow Calvin to take this picture until her hair was curled, thus the delay.

This is the first time that Calvin has been able to visit his mom in person since the coronavirus hit us, although they have had regular virtual visits.

Awesome achievement!  May she celebrate many more.

Another garden finished.  Sod relocated, weeds removed, mulch added.  This one stretches almost to the hydro pole.

A lot of work, but it will pay off in time saved cutting grass.  Don't need to circle every tree now.

Tomorrow is the Stoney Creek Optimist Club's Fall Fair at Little League Park.  Mardi and I will be there.

After yesterday's list of warnings, Al Knapp made this comment:

The part that says avoid using names in your contact list that reveals the relationship that you have with that person. I will now have to remove the name "sweetheart" from my contact list and replace it with Bud!!!

I love you Al, but you're definitely incorrigible!

Hey Al, did you know that a Cardinal in the Catholic Church is a bird of pray?

Stay well folks.
