Today was a great day for working outside and I got quite a bit done. But, the best part was being invited in for coffee with Sue and her mom, Sarah, who was celebrating her 90th birthday. What a wonderful lady! All the best and many more Sarah!
It's also Jill Parker's birthday (number unknown) but I'm sure that she doesn't mind playing second fiddle to Sarah today. Best wishes Jill.

This afternoon, Mardi and I attended a Celebration of Life for Jim Smythe. Really glad that we had a chance to see Jim on his 97th birthday this summer.

Tonight it was off to Theatre Aquarius to see Salt Baby. It's a story about a Six Nations woman who is 75% Indigenous but because of her light skin she has trouble determining where she belongs.
An simple, interesting set, and unfortunately a somewhat sparse crowd.
Folks missed a good show. The Salt Lady part was the only solo performance. The other three actors portrayed more than one character. The best was the woman who played seven parts, including that of the grandfather spirit.
Well done and very moving. In the end she comes to terms with her mixed bloodlines.

Blue Jays did it again, falling 6 - 10 to the Rays. Two more games between these teams in this series. Fingers crossed.
Stay well.
