Last night, after I had finished the blog, we went to dinner at Friendly's, mainly because it's right beside the hotel.
While we were having dinner, a young lady was making balloon figures for the kids at the next table. When she finished, Mardi took this picture.
Pretty good work! So, Mardi talked to the young lady who made the balloons and discovered that she did it for tips.
Mardi had seen what looked like a single mother and her little boy come into the restaurant, so she gave the lady a $5 tip to make a balloon figure for the boy.
Apparently he likes Spiderman.
A nice way to spend an evening!
Today we went for a long walk before going to "work". Attended our timeshare presentation, which lasted three hours, collected our $50 Visa card (that's $8.33 U.S. per hour each, plus our reduced hotel rate for the next five days) and headed back to the hotel.
We have agreed that will be our last timeshare "experience". But we learned a lot (Timeshare 101 plus).
The good news is that we started burning off the calories today. Mardi took 8,759 steps and I did 6,859.
Tomorrow we head to Remington Golf Course for our first game of the year. And, weather permitting (looks good now) to Cape Canaveral for the SpaceX launch at 9:18 p.m. of 60 satellites.
Stay tuned.

So glad you made it to FLA safely. Cant wait to hear about the launch. Take care.
