Played Thundering Waters with Ron King and Judy Rivers today. Beautiful sunny day. Too bad about the golf.
If you've never played Thundering Waters you may not be aware that they have movable sand traps that jump in front of your ball on almost every hole.
Even the guy who always shoots it down the middle...
...sometimes ends up in a trap, or near one.
We missed getting the picture of the year, when Ron had trouble getting out of a deep bunker and did a smooth barrel roll in the grass.
Judy did her share of "beach" time as well.
But, nobody got as much practice there as I did. The shot below was my second try from this trap. Not the only time this happened today.
Nevertheless, she wiped me out again. Down two with one to go.

After the game we headed to Betty's Restaurant in Chippewa. Excellent food, good prices, and lots of room between tables.

Got home in time to watch the last four innings of the Jays game against Baltimore. They won 10-5, a nice tuneup for the playoffs.

Tomorrow I'm heading out again with the ladies for a Yard Sale morning.
