When the young folk at the greenhouse are helping customers load bags of soil they sometimes come across bags that have rips. Those are thrown behind the skids onto the grass.
So, today's project was to move those bags to the area in the picture below so that I could cut the grass. I managed to load and move five of these skids before the boss noticed.
He told me that I should ask for help. I responded that I'm old, stupid and stubborn, but apparently that defense didn't cut it. I got a reprimand, and a young guy was sent out to help with the last two skids (actually, another young guy helped me with some of the other five, but why tell David?).
I think my punishment is a day off (that would be Monday when I golf 😎).

While I was being foolish, Mardi was much more successful. Went yard saling with my sister Judy and came up with this beautiful Scottish Grouse Kilt Pin for $1.
It will be heading west for Ethan's military garb.

And, I'll close with a bit of wisdom that Mardi received from her cousin Allan Prentice.
Unfortunately, the MAGA folks in the U.S. are insisting on feeding the wrong one.
Stay well, and hope for some wisdom during their November election.
