Next?

After two days at home, Remembrance Day and final apartment inspection day,  we are on our way to Branson, Missouri.

From Cambridge to the Indiana border we were treated to a "winter wonderland".  Occasional snow or ice pellets, but nothing serious.

We are now in Springfield, Illinois.  Our Comfort Suites hotel has a dinner offering of shaved beef and mashed potatoes, free!  Probably a response to the Drury Inn, which offers dinner every night, along with drinks.  No drinks here (fortunately we have our own duty free bottle), but with a price of $79 U.S. for the room, we probably saved another $30 for dinner and didn't have to go out the door to get it!  Life is good!

Tomorrow, we head for Branson, via St. Louis.  We plan to visit the St. Louis Arch - Mardi has never ascended to the top, but this will be my fourth time - and then head for Branson.
