Lake Marion Golf Course - November 7, 2018

This was to be a non golf day but, with the weather forecast, we decided to switch - golf today, rest while it rains tomorrow.

Lake Marion is the nicest course we have played this week.  Some elevation changes and a few water holes.

This picture was taken on a par 3 from the Men's tees.

And, from the Ladies' tees.

The following hole was a real challenge.  It was over 180 yards to clear the second pond.  Mardi and Lil took the first pond on and then Matt and I gave the long shot a go.  The Men's tee was behind the camera a bit to the left.  I came up about a yard short, but Matt made it, leaving him about 10 yards to the green.

The weather was cloudy, but no rain today.  Nevertheless, my body quit on me and my partner and I came in dead last (or, last dead it felt like).

A short rest while we watched CNN and found out that Trump has already fired his beleaguered Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, one of the few Republicans with a backbone and a conscience.

Dinner in Hawaii came next.

Our hosts.

We were entertained by a slide show from our Hawaiian trip, which was accompanied by a selection of Hawaiian music.  A really nice touch.

After dinner things got a little silly!  I really think Matt looks better as a Hawaiian Mormon.

Even Fred got into the act.

Another fine theme night for the group!

Tomorrow is an off day, while it rains.  If we do anything interesting it will be reported.
