Mount Dora

We visited the Mount Dora (270 feet above sea level) Art Festival today.  The whole town was involved.  And, hundreds of visitors showed up as well.  A big deal in a small town.

We took a shuttle bus instead of the train, due to proximity and time.  The train came into town as we were sitting down to lunch.

There were dozens of tents set up throughout most of the downtown.

And the art was exceptional.

Lots of jewellery, pottery, carvings, photography and just about every medium you can think of, including this $250 monarch butterfly shawl.

Lots of absolutely beautiful works.

Add a few buskers, and food booths, and you have a great day!  We'll put this event on our annual list of must-dos.

No cards tonight.  Super Bowl beckons.
