Happy New Year!

We worked all day on  85 - 150 Gateshead and finished emptying and cleaning at 8 p.m. New Year's Eve.  Drove back to the condo, had a couple of drinks to celebrate and were asleep before 10 p.m.  Have they dropped the ball yet?

We didn't unload the van until this morning.  Then began to pack for Florida.  Managed to leave by 1 p.m. and made it to Pittsburgh before we ran out of steam.

There is an advantage to using the same hotel chain (Choice Hotels) for all your stops.  We got our room free tonight, the second free night in two months.

Not bad for the price!

That left me enough money to take my chick out for dinner.
She told me to take her picture before she became mean, tired and ugly.  I think I made it!

A great meal (and drinks) at the Central Diner and Grill, a Greek restaurant.  Enough leftovers for tomorrow night's dinner.  

Tomorrow we head for New Bern to survey how they have recovered from the hurricane.  Stay tuned.
